Sonae Sierra inaugurates headquarters with Innovus decorative solutions

Sonae Sierra has opened its new headquarters in Maia (Porto), designed to maximise employee performance and well-being. The new space has more than 100 workstations, different types of meeting rooms and an informal auditorium for presentations.

“Sustainability and visual comfort were important in the development of the project, both from the point of view of rational and comprehensive management of natural resources (energy, water and sunlight) and in the careful choice of materials and natural elements,” explained Jorge Morgadinho, Executive Director of Reify and the project manager.

The project includes OSB panelling, which shapes “Café Central”, the office's café area, as well as several decors from the Innovus Collection:

• Natural Concrete (F2204) – desks, breakroom counters, support cupboards 

• Yang Marble (F2273) – tabletops in the meeting rooms 

• Silk Light Grey (LS166) – magnetic board in the meeting booths 

• Pure White (B4402) – tables in the meeting booths 

• Silk Anthracite (LS4054) – magnetic board in the meeting rooms 

• Black (L3031) – cupboard shelves in the meeting rooms and desks in the circular work area
  
  

The Innovus decors, such as the designs that reproduce concrete and plaster, respond to the environmental and visual concerns of the team that led the project and "contributed to the construction of spaces that are more organic, artisanal, authentic, unique and naturally comfortable."

The offices are part of Campus Sonae and reflect the company’s vision for the workplaces of the future: an increasing need for flexibility has been transforming the dynamics and the relationship between employees. Above all, this is a project that makes different ways of working possible and stimulates creativity.
